Sr. Marketing Specialist, Employment Branding

As the Sr. Marketing Specialist for Employment Branding at Catalent, you will become a key part of the Talent Acquisition & Development team helping to drive new branding, advertising, digital, collateral and video initiatives across our business to help attract, acquire, engage, and retain talent around the world.

In this global role, you will partner with Marketing, Talent Acquisition, University Recruiting, Diversity and Inclusion, and Learning and Development, to promote Catalent as an employer of choice and identify opportunities and solutions to support our talent, recruiting, company and brand goals.

Position Summary

This position will play a key role in design and marketing activities for a global leader in drug development and manufacturing.

This position will report directly to the Global Director of Talent Operations and will have a strong relationship with the global Marketing organization.

The Role (daily responsibilities)

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to create interest and awareness of Catalent through candidate communications, our career website, social media, videos, recruitment collateral and more

  • Effectively communicate and showcase Catalent’s employee value proposition, culture, mission, and work environment to prospective candidates and employees.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, Marketing and Social Media to create employment brand communication strategies and material with an eye towards scientific / technical hiring

  • Proactively manage the content calendar, produce and coordinate content for careers website, and help maintain employer profiles across social media channels (i.e. Glassdoor, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.)

  • Create engaging content to share across multiple channels including blog features, photos, videos, print collateral, event properties and communication templates that clearly demonstrate why Catalent is a great place to work

  • Partner with scientific teams to develop strong content strategies to attract scientific / pharma talent and top engineers at all experience levels

  • Design and execute internal campaigns to drive employee referrals/ employee engagement

  • Evaluate metrics, report on campaign and website results and determine ROI

  • Help define touchpoints and best communication opportunities in the candidate lifecycle

  • Support Catalent video and social marketing strategy with editing and graphic design; Work with marketing resources, including design, digital and social, to deliver right output of right quality on time and budget

The Candidate (requirements)

Our ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, loves to create engaging content, and is confident in website management, brand management, social media, creative development and project management. This person also enjoys collaborating with internal teams to create new and innovate content that will increase our candidate pipeline and improve employee retention.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design or related field required

  • 3-5 years of direct and relevant experience required

  • Expert in Adobe Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop); Proficient in Microsoft Office; Video editing and digital design skills a plus.

  • Must have strong attention to detail, excellent written and oral communication skills, strong time management skills

  • Individual must be self-motivated and able to work independently without excessive guidance; Experience managing projects from conception to completion
