Job Description

Summary:

QC technician is responsible for raw material sampling, requests, coordinating outsource testing. Some lab based release tests. Receipt and distribution of incoming reference standards and API. Maintaining sample room stock and inventory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assist with receipt of raw materials for GMP productions.

  • Assist with analysis of Total Organic Carbon cleaning samples.

  • Sampling of raw materials for release testing to support manufacturing operations.

  • Assist with calibration and maintenance of sampling room equipment.

  • Documentation of sampling and inventories of raw materials.

  • Assist with packaging and shipping of materials for test.

  • Assist with coordination of testing with third-party vendors.

  • Ensuring that sampling is performed in accordance with all applicable SOPs, specifications and protocols.

  • Coordination of retain sample transfer to materials group.

Education and/or Experience

  • Must currently be a full time, second or third year college student with a major in life sciences. Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology majors (with a focus in Chemistry) are encouraged to apply.

  • Prior experience in chemistry and chemistry lab techniques are strongly recommended.
