The role of the Senior Operations Technician responsible for the production of sterile injectable mixtures, inhaled products (MDI, pMDI, DPI, and nasal), and other formulations compatible/accessible with the production equipment available at the Catalent Morrisville site.
The Senior Operations Technician will execute, complete, and review all associated master batch record documentation; creates and reviews standard operating procedures; creates manufacturing metrics documentation and assists with process development and validation studies.

The Role/Daily Duties:
Interface directly with customers as required to develop and document the manufacturing process to transfer technology to the clinical manufacturing department
Review experimental product trial paperwork to ensure use of proper process flow, materials and equipment.
Manufacture experimental pilot trials working closely with scientists and
- Accurately document as required during all experimental trial manufacturing
processes paying strict attention to detail.
- Perform all steps and processes necessary for preparation and finishing of
experimental and cGMP product batches.
Maintain accurate inventory and tracking records of supplies and equipment.
Ensure good housekeeping and maintain equipment and rooms in a clean and
orderly manner in accordance with cGMP's and FDA requirements.
Education or Equivalent:
- College degree preferred. High School diploma with 10 + years of GMP manufacturing experience.
Comply with health, safety, and environmental responsibilities for the position
Good working knowledge of policies and procedures necessary in handling/working with equipment and materials used to manufacture drugs
Must be able to work flexible schedules and be able to adjust to very busy work atmosphere and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
Must have good communication skills and be able to work well in a team environment and communicate directly with internal and external customers on complex projects.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
This position will be stationed in an office and manufacturing environment
On an average 8 hour day this position requires the ability to walk, sit and stand, use hands
to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms at or above shoulder height and below waist
height, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear, smell and lift up to 40 pounds
