Catalent has a Lead, cGMP Biomanufacturing position available that will report directly to the Manager, cGMP Biomanufacturing. The Lead cGMP Biomanufacturing role manages the technology transfer process (both Internal and External) into Manufacturing. This position will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Biomanufacturing activities and oversee the implementation of operational process improvements and process excellence in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring respective requirements are met and integrated in the Manufacturing process.

Actively manages resolution of deviations, out of specifications and CAPA’s, including via cross-functional teams.
Leads and develops others’ training in process and compliance-related procedures to ensure regulatory requirements and company policies are met.
Supports the validation and execution of process equipment to meet timelines and regulatory requirements.
Operates and troubleshoots cGMP Biomanufacturing equipment such as pH/conductivity meters, mixing tanks (SUMs), tubing fusers/sealers, filter integrity testers, peristaltic pumps, balances and Biosafety Cabinets (BSC) or Laminar Flow Hoods (LFH). Maintains effectiveness of Quality system.
Routinely drafts and revises Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Batch Production Records (BPR) and Job Aids (JA)Leads deviation investigations and change control/protocol execution within established timelines.
- PhD in Biotechnology, or related field, with minimum of 3 years’ experience in related laboratory work; or M.S./M.A. in Biotechnology, or related field, with minimum of 5 years’ experience in related laboratory work; or B.S./B.A. in Biotechnology, or related field, with minimum of 7 years’ experience in related laboratory work; or Associate’s in Biotechnology, or related field, with minimum of 9 years’ experience in related laboratory work.
Clean room, aseptic technique, and/or general lab equipment experience.
cGMP, Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) knowledge.
Experience with SUBs, SUMs, Unicorn and/or Delta V software(s). Experience with Trackwise, Compliancewire or other electronic tracking software.
