The IT Team Regional Leader will be responsible for ensuring that client related technical issues are resolved in a quick and proper manner. This individual will have a strong IT background and will be required to oversee other IT staff. This position will require significant interaction with internal clients, IT associates, and third-party service providers. Position requires a strong bias towards service, quality, and customer satisfaction.
The role of the IT Team Regional Leader role is critical to the end user which are our patients. The position allows our business and our sites to operate at the fullest capacity and efficiency.
Business Leadership & Field Services
Work with Site Leadership Team(s) to understand strategy and business challenges.
Promotes the ITLT and general IT Organizational structure including off site functions.
Engage all areas within IT to ensure customer group is receiving the services required. Act as site point of contact.
Researches, evaluates, and provides technical solutions to address defined business requirements. Identifies alternatives and present recommendations that meet user needs and comply with established standards.
Oversees day to day activities of assigned US-based field service technicians.
Understands advanced user technology issues and provides solutions based upon basic proven methods.
Interacts with clients to process service requests or resolve technical problems.
Installs/removes/configures software applications.
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline. Equivalent work experience will be considered.
Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification is desired.
Minimum of 5 years relevant direct technical support and a minimum of 2 years relevant direct supervisory experience.
Must have good understanding of personal computers, peripherals & associated accessories. Solid understanding of personal computing applications (MS-Office, Visio, Outlook, etc.). Good working knowledge of business applications, networks, and server infrastructure.
Service oriented attitude (flexible, personable, approachable)
On-Call & Travel Requirements:
On call 24x7 for emergencies and special projects in accordance with standby policy.
Must be able to work non-standard hours (weekends, evenings, nights) as needed.
Travel will typically be less than 10% with the ability to travel more during certain circumstances (e.g. client support visits)
